Our Range of Courses

For people who passed their test after January 1997 and who wish to tow trailers.

The course includes practical driving tuition to the DVSA standard for:

  • Theoretical aspects of towing a trailer
  • Practical tuition for the DVSA reversing exercise
  • Practical tuition for the DVSA coupling and uncoupling of the trailer

Vehicles over 3500kgs with a trailer over 750kgs. Since January 1997 drivers are now required to pass Category C prior to taking a C+E course and test.

The LGV licence is divided into two categories, Category C+E allows the holder to drive articulated lorries and rigid – drawbar combination.

Candidates receive guided practical instruction in a rigid or articulated vehicle covering all aspects of driving large goods vehicles in preparation for the DVSA LGV driving test.

Vehicles over 7500kgs – this licence will enable successful candidates to drive any rigid vehicle with a small trailer. To qualify for this you must be at least 18 yrs of age, hold a full car licence and be medically fit.

The LGV licence is divided into two categories, category C allows holders to drive rigid vehicles over 7.5 tonnes.

Candidates receive guided practical instruction in a rigid vehicle covering all aspects of driving large goods vehicles in preparation for the DVSA LGV driving test.

Driver training for vehicles over 3500kgs and not exceeding 7500kgs. To qualify for training you must be at least 18 years of age, hold a full car licence, and be medically fit.
